SOUND X CREATION
We invite you to a workshop where the technique of sculpting from a solid volume of clay meets the meditative practice of sound.
Under the guidance of sound facilitator Peter Čuhalev, we will explore the relationship between the body, the hands and clay through sound, rhythm and vibration. Sound will become an impulse that travels through our hands into the material, guiding the process of shaping.
Sound meditation is a practice of active listening — listening to sound while also noticing what unfolds within us in response to it. As sound and silence quiet the mind and create distance from the everyday stream of thoughts, a space opens for slowing down, presence and inner perception.
In this space, we can listen to the questions that are alive within us in the present moment. From silence and listening a creative impulse begins to emerge and, through clay, our hands allow it to take form.
Sound helps us listen to what we are creating, while clay gives form to what we hear.
The pieces created during the workshop will be glazed and fired. No prior experience in handbuilding is required.

ZVOK X KREACIJA
Vabimo vas na delavnico, kjer se bosta srečali tehnika oblikovanja iz polnega volumna in meditativna praksa zvoka. Pod vodstvom facilitatorja zvoka Petra Čuhaleva bomo skozi zvok, ritem in vibracijo raziskovali odnos med telesom, rokami in glino. Zvok bo postal impulz, ki se preko naših rok prenaša v material in usmerja proces oblikovanja.
Zvočna meditacija je praksa aktivnega poslušanja – poslušanja zvoka in hkrati tega, kar se ob njem dogaja v nas. Ko zvok in tišina umirita um ter odmakneta vsakodnevni tok misli, se odpira prostor za upočasnitev, prisotnost in notranje zaznavanje.
V tem prostoru lahko prisluhnemo vprašanjem, ki so trenutno živa v nas. Iz tišine in poslušanja se začne pojavljati ustvarjalni impulz, roke pa mu skozi glino omogočijo, da dobi obliko.
Zvok pomaga prisluhniti temu, kar ustvarjamo, glina pa temu, kar slišimo, daje obliko.
Nastale izdelke bomo glazirali in odžgali. Predznanje o oblikovanju gline ni potrebno.
